Yellow hair

My dyed blonde hair has gone yellow in the sun - it seems all one colour - I’m a natural brunette with olive skin so it looks fake. What shades would you add in to sort the yellow? Have tried purple shampoo but it isn’t cutting it.

Have you tried the bleach London one? I find that to be the best and I have tried loads.

That’s the one I’ve got - I always seem to end up with yellow hair every summer - thank you though

You could try putting an ash colour on it

If you're brunette you need blue shampoo instead of purple, purple only seems to work on blonde hair, whereas blue is fantastic at getting rid of yellow in brown hair. At least that's what I found when I was brunette and had the same problem :).

There is a brand which I think they sell in Boots (Lee Stafford maybe?) which does a great blue shampoo, but its been a while since I was brunette and since I lived in the UK so not sure what's available now.

Maybe ask a hairdressers advice, someone who could actually see it in real life

Personally i would use a purple shampoo though it would make it look a lighter blonde, and less yellow

I don’t think tinted shampoo will necessarily give you what you’re after, you might need a trip to the salon to add highlights/lowlights and give your hair more dimension rather than it looking like all one colour.
