Silver rings

Hi,
Could you please give me any links to any high end silver jewellery shops?

I am allergic to my white gold engagement ring, I've looked into getting it reset in silver (I know I'm not allergic to silver) and it will cost 2x what I paid for the original which seems silly and it's 6x to get it in platinum.
I'm really upset I'm going to have to change it and looking at silver engagement rings they're all cubic zirconia or really cheap looking so thinking something more artisanal than traditional.

Thank you!

Contact an independent jeweller. I'm a jewellery designer, but I don't set stones so can't help here. I can recommend a few great artisnal jewellers in the Glasgow area if that helps you.

Thanks @Rocinante1 I've contacted a local one here in Leeds and also the independent jewellers I bought the ring from originally, prices are just a bit ridiculous for a ring that at the end won't be worth that - even though I completely love it, it is throwing money away.
Silly to get so sentimental and upset over an object!

What sort of stone is it? I’m sure I read that silver is too soft to set diamonds in

TheGirlOnTheLanding · 03/07/2018 19:51

Is there a coast or mountain range or skyline close to your hearts? I really love the silver coastline rings made by www.hannahlouiselamb.com with or without diamonds. They're so personal. (And don't feel silly for getting upset over a 'thing', sentimental attachment is definitely allowed when it comes to jewellery and even more so when it's an engagement ring!)

Ooh, I saw the Hannah Louise Lamb rings today. They are lovely. My boyfriend commented on how much he liked the cufflinks.

@Happynewlife the mirri damer ones are lovely!

My original ring is this (not a great pic!) it's traditional but it's a rare setting and it's that which is costing and it wasn't an expensive ring

@Appuskidu it's diamond but none of the jewellers I've spoken to today have said being silver will be an issue

@kshaw that's very pretty and unusual, I can see why you'd like to have it copied in silver.

@Happynewlife those Misu rings are gorgeous! How lovely to choose exactly the one you want to be made.

Needthesunshine · 03/07/2018 21:08

Www.alisonmoore.co.uk has some gorgeous rings.
