Help me find a shoulder bag!

Hi there,

My friend has a Longchamp Le Pliage shoulder bag. It's great, zips right up, lightweight, fits everything in. She's offered to buy me one for my birthday, it fits all my shoulder bag criteria but I'm just not sure if they're a bit too popular. What do you think? I was ideally looking for a tan leather or faux leather one of a similar shape and design, but I keep googling and can never seem to find the right one. Either they look great but don't zip, or they zip but are too fussy etc. Or maybe the Le Pliage are popular for a reason and I should get one of those? They are quite classic looking. I'm 35 work in the city but not for a city firm (I don't wear a suit), it would be for work and weekends. I'm not that trendy but like to think not frumpy either.

Thanks!

Have you seen the Ralph Lauren totes? I'm eyeing them up at the moment.

Oo they do look nice! Could be a go-er.

The Ralph Lauren totes are gorgeous.

I know! I am such an idiot, they had one in TK Maxx for £50 a few weeks ago and I DIDN'T BUY IT. What a mistake.

The Le Pliage is a perfect every day bag. Bought mine 4 years ago, use it all the time for travel. It's waterproof too. I bought mine in the chocolate colour so the leather doesn't stand out too much. Really versatile and you can fold up, use the popper and pack it really easily.

Jeez, it's on the Ralph Lauren site for £59.99 sale price but won't allow me to buy, says select size (it's one bloody size!)
