Shopping - London - tips for King's Road?

I'm going to London for a work thing next week and want to have a browse and spend my birthday money. Will be near King's Road - any advice for shopping there? My style is definitely not Made in Chelsea and I'm after good quality basics if anything...

Check if the Jospeh sale shop is still there.
Duke of York area has lovely shops - rest is all a bit normal high street.

There’s a big Anthropologie which is nice to look for things that are a bit different. Peter Jones at Sloane Sq station is John Lewis under another name and has a reasonable range of stuff.

Yy duke of York square & Peter Jones, they also had a Jane shilton outlet shop the last time I was up that way, I think may be a Boden shop as well.

Thanks for the tips, I just want to try an area I haven't shopped before and enjoy a wander around. Cheers Smile
