Shorts

I’m moving to Australia in 3 weeks. And have heard that clothes are mega expensive there so trying to organise my wardrobe in advance. So am looking for help from the style and beauty experts in finding shorts which are

• not mega expensive
• light material
• around knee length or just above
• don’t make me look like a beached whale (5 foot 2 and size 12-14)

Ideally a female version of men’s cargo shorts. Anyone any ideas?

I'm same height as you and honestly a slightly shorter pair of shorts suit me way better than knee length. I bought these decathlon ones in grey recently and am really pleased with them. They're a lovely fit and shape and a great price!

They look brilliant- am happy with mid thigh so they look perfect. Just trying to avoid the bum cheek displaying ones that are so prevalent on the high street at the moment! Thanks!
