Hi ladies,burny redhead here

please can you recommend me a light and dry feeling facial sun cream that offers me at least factor 30 with a bit of coverage in a very fair complexion. It also needs to be matt. Am I asking for too much? I feel like my usual foundation mac studio fix is too heavy for asunny day and is only spf 15.
I currently have no7 protect and perfect intense B.B sun protection cream in “fair”, which I can’t stand any longer, it’s too dark and it’s also shiny and sticky. I feel like I look dirty and shiny Yuk!

I'm using clinique pep-start spf20 moisturiser. It goes on shiny/dewy, but dried matt.

I have a couple of pigmentation marks from pregnancy, the ones that have been removed by dermabrasion haven't returned, and the other hasn't got any worse.

Makeup alone will NEVER give you enough protection, unless you reapply every 2 hours and cake your face in it.

I've just started using a 50+ one from La Roche Posay which is FAB!
It's a suncream, not makeup, but you just wear with makeup.
It's in an aerosol type spray, but very light, you barely feel it being applied. Dries with a satin finish, no need to rub in, as it gives a light, invisible layer, so even works over makeup.
Only thing I've tried that doesn't break me out! Vichy ones were too white and gave me acne.

thanks spanishwife and queenie! i did some researching, probs what i should have done in the first place! anyway I found la
roche-posey anti brilliance anti shine in boots on offer and i’ve treated myself. I feel it might be a game-changer already actually it feels lovely on my skin, like nothing on and has the matt finish i was hoping for. I looked at the spray but got the liquid in the end, so you would recommend the spray?

I have the spray as I shop on feelunique.com (i live abroad - no boots boo), haven't tried the spray, but I reckon the whole range is lovely. I love their skin care and they always get fab reviews.

I use ultrasun for face and really like it. It’s a cream but non greasy and make up goes on fine over the top. My husband used it as well - he has rosacea and it doesn’t irritate his fussy skin.

Thank you daydream 💐
