Girls adjustable waist shorts (not denim)

Where can I buy adjustable waist shorts for my very thin and petite daughter. She's 9 but wears age 5-6 or 6-7. Struggling to find shorts that will fit her. Any elastic ones with draw string waists don't work as I have to pull them so tight, she can't get them down for the bathroom.

Appreciate any suggestions for adjustable waist not denim shorts!

My Dd is much older but Gap and Matalan and George at asda did adjustable waist trousers/shorts

I had this problem as well when my daughter was younger. Primark is your friend. They never used to do adjustable waist in the smaller sizes but do now. Plenty styles to choose from as well

Good for primark I am sure M &Sused to but that might have just been school clothes

John Lewis do, we have some gorgeous green ones. Verbaudet is also good for skinny children.

We have this problem as well. We have shorts from H&M, Gap, Fat Face and Mountain Warehouse. Vertbaudet are good too if you don't mind buying online.

How does she get on with leggings? Asda have some nice pastel cycling shorts atm, you could size down or dart the waist?

I always found Vertbaudet a good fit for my narrow waisted daughter when she was young. I don't know if they do adjustable waist shorts but many of their trousers were.

Okay - I checked. They have loads of shorts with adjustable waistbands. The good thing about Vertbaudet is they are quite slim fitting anyway so you don't have to pull the elastic round quite so much and avoids having too much fabric bunched up.
