Where are all the brown sandals?

I get that brown/tan must have been deemed an unfashionable colour for women's footwear this year, but that doesn't stop me wanting and needing a pair of sandals that are tan/brown. The pair I had broke last year on holiday and now I have summer clothes I am not wearing because they go with brown sandals.

Can anyone help? I need bigger than a size 8. So a proper big size 8 if UK size or an EU42 / 9 if made in Europe. I'd rather not pay more than £50. I'd rather they were not completely flat like the sole has been cut from a piece of cardboard. I'd like them not to have any adornment, sparkling jewels, dual colour features on them. I want them to be more delicate than Birkenstocks (which I have) but not so dainty that I can't walk anywhere in them.

That can't be such a big ask but I have been looking for several months without success.

Next? They go up to a 9 in a lot of styles (I also have big feet) and are more likely to be under £50. Looking on the site there are quite a few of both brown and tan.

Failing that, have you checked shopstyle.co.uk?

Look up a brand called Art, Amazon stocks them. I was just looking at them yesterday and there are lots of tan and chocolate brown options.

It's more likely they are all sold out and shops won't re stock this late into summer . They make much less size 8 and 9 so I expect they are all gone .

I've been looking for several months. My usual go to is Zalando but there's not been anything there to order. I suspect I will have to pay more if I want some. I have seen some in the 60-80 pounds range but it does seem ridiculous. My last pair were leather gladiator sandals from M&S for £25.

Thanks for the Top Shop link. They're flatter than I would have liked but better than nothing so I can wear some of my summer clothes that don't go with my black sandals or Birkenstocks.

The Gabor ones would not look good on my feet because I have long toes. I haven't managed to find any Art sandals I like below £50 but do generally like them.

Saltwater sandals keep getting rave reviews - they're not my kind of show but fit the bill for what you're after! I've seen them in tan too.
