Hi, I have an important dinner at the end of August. It's 'social' but in reality it is quite important for work. I want to look very polished and professional for it. I was thinking like Claire from House of Cards - classic. My budget would only stretch to a couple of hundred max (I'm hoping if schmoozing at the dinner goes well, I'll be up for promotion and will have a bigger budget in future!). I was thinking of trying to get some LK Bennett heels on sale and then maybe a dress from somewhere not too expensive but fashionable like H and M. Has anyone got any better suggestions? I like muted colours and my hair is short and sandy brown. I'm 5 4 with a size 12 frame - muscular with big boobs.
