What do you think of these boots? Can't decide whether to keep

I bought these boots www.hannahs.co.nz/womens/boots/ankle/mazin-cayto-VBL8627 but I can't decide whether to keep them or not. They are comfy but I'm not sure if they look a bit clumpy or not. It's really hot a lot of the year here but a few months of the year I need boots. These ones I would have to wear low socks with and not sure if that means I'm just going to have cold ankles. So hard to find decent boots here and so expensive. Next deliver here and so do m&s if anyone knows any good boots? I need comfy as I'm on my feet all day, I wear a lot of dresses and leggings/tights in winter, or skinny jeans and t-shirts.

I love them. They are like a shoe/boot.
Very expensive though!

I bought them when had $50 off, but yes still expensive, I think that's one of reasons in wondering if I should return them. It's so tricky to get good quality shows here and ridiculous prices for anything leather. You can easily spend $100 and still and up with something synthetic that falls apart quickly. My last hush puppies lasted years!

I like them and I think they would go well with the outfits you describe.

I dont like them. A bit shoe boaty and odd around the ankle. The stitching and colours arent nice. If you can spare the money keep them for comfort if not id shop around.

Yep, they are quite big around the ankle, I have really skinny ankles too which doesn't help with boots. Hmmm, maybe as I'm sitting on fence a bit I should return them. I am so indecisive...

Does anyone know of any shoes on Next that go with dresses but are really comfy (i'm a primary teacher) and not narrow (wideish feet). I don't like not being able to try shoes on so bit nervous with ordering shoes online.

Nope, like mens boots but if it gets really cold you will appreciate them. skinny jeans and ankle socks folded down over your heel is the way I wear them
