Lindybop - nice or crap?

Looking for COTTON summer dresses and there are a surprising number of pretty ones here.

Obviously avoiding styling them in the retro way, as that's not my style.

But are they nice in RL? Or is the quality a bit dodge? They're oddly cheap compared to so many places!!

I have one from there which is ok. Not bad but not great.

The ones I have seen have been reasonable, in the cloth, as it were.

I just bought 2 dresses on ebay for the wedding season and they are lovely (second hand but in excellent condition) one was a bit small though the other has a lovely fit. Very pleased with them!

I tried it, but it ended up looking fancy dress!

They're ok. They're one size fits all re style and cut so it needs to suit you, but they are cheap so you can try a few. I recently turned one of their dresses into a skirt as the skirt part sat too high on me from the relatively short bodice.

i really like them, the swing style dresses and skirts suit my shape. I don't buy or wear the pencil style stuff though as it doesn't work for me personally. The stuff made from cotton or high cotton mixes is nicer, IMO, than the polyester stuff and some of the patterns are a bit out there for me, i do tend to prefer the plain or more subtle patterned stuff. I have had no problems with returns and customer service has been decent in my experience

I bought some swing style dresses from Amazon, they are cotton and surprisingly good for the price.

I like them but the sizing is very strange. I'm wearing an 18 at the moment everywhere else and the dress I have from Lindy bop that just fits is a 24.

I love them but they are a bit on the small size . I have two, both are roughly one size smaller than most other shops

Quality is rubbish Imo! Sizes are all over then place too....

Everything I've tried made me look like I'd describe myself as 'quirky'
