White blouse for funeral?

Need to attend a funeral service tomorrow with temperatures set to top 30 degrees.
Would white blouse and black linen trousers be too casual?

As long as you're neat and tidy and respectfully dressed it won't matter. People turn up to funerals in all sorts, lots of people have to duck out of work or other commitments in order to attend.

You might actually find the building will be quite cool. Old stone churches will be, and newer crematoriums and churches often have high ceilings, air con etc.

I would think it partly depends on how smart the blouse is. A silk blouse absolutely perfect. But I can imagine something a bit hippy-ish in cheesecloth maybe not so much. But in this weather black trousers and a white blouse generally seems absolutely fine.

Absolutely fine. The family will appreciate that you're paying your respects.

I would even wear a white t-shirt. I don't think anyone would disapprove as long as you are looking smart in general. Good shoes and handbag etc
