Due to an injury flare up at the beginning of this year I've had to stop and start with my usual exercise regime which normally keeps me trim. Unfortunately this resulted in me putting on a bit of weight and going up a dress size. I haven't bought clothes to accommodate as I'm back to normal now and have started exercising so slowly getting back down to my "normal" size. Due to go on a day out tomorrow in the scorching weather and am wearing a denim skirt which fits me bit not completely comfy at the waist. I don't really have anything else to wear and not in a position to buy anything so it will have to do. What I need help with is does anyone have any tips for stretching out the waist a bit. It's a h&m skirt so not stiff denim there is a little give. I just want to be comfy when I sit down!

If it has a top button, leave it undone, wear a top outside that covers it. Or if it's a zip, can you leave the top inch or so undone? Trouble with that is that it is likely to come down!

I could hide the top button with my belt actually that could be a shout! I can't wait to be back to normal. Sciatica is awful.

Hitch it together with a hair band looped together.
