Darkest blackest Eyelash tint ever?

Sick of mascara melting in this heat and giving me raccoon eyes whilst simultaneously leaving behind piggy little blonde lashes. So gorgeous.

But eyelash tints were always too subtle for me. Have used Eyelure in the past and it really wasn't that dark.

Is there anything more dramatic? Basically I want to look like there's mascara on already.

Yes, blue black is darker. Eyelash tints aren’t as good as they used to be.

Blue black Refectocil.

I have used tubing mascaras in the past but they are a pain to take off as you have to use warm water (which I don't always have left at that hour of the evening) and they can look a bit spikey.

Might try and see if Salon Services have Refectocil, that looks good. Thanks!

eBay and Amazon usually stock it. Good luck!

Fannyfanakerpants · 02/07/2018 19:36

How do you do this yourself? Is there a kit that has everything or do you buy bits separately?

EveningHare · 02/07/2018 19:37

thats what i was going to ask, Blue black Refectocil? need a mixer?

Judydreamsofhorses · 02/07/2018 20:47

I use Strictly Professional in blue/black, which is what they use at the place I go for eyebrow threading. You need the colour plus developing liquid. I buy from Amazon and you can get a kit that has the colour/developer plus a mixing bowl and brush, or buy the bits separately. (I use an old mascara wand to apply it.)

Is it easy to do yourself? Always a bit wary of getting it in my eyes and blinding myself!

Judydreamsofhorses · 03/07/2018 21:18

I’ve done it since I was a teenager, green (my mum is really fair so she’s tinted for as long as I can remember) and it’s really easy. Just put plenty of Vaseline round your eyes and keep a steady hand. Put it on like mascara. You should probably set a timer and lie down with your eyes shut but I tend to just go about my business with one eye on my watch. I remove it with damp cotton wool then properly cleanse my face to make sure it’s totally gone. If it gets in your eyes just remove it and flush your eye with cold water, but as long as you don’t overload your lashes it should be fine.

In the meantime I did buy a tubing mascara yesterday to tide me over. The gold one from No7 which I did like well enough in the past.

Put it on this morning and it's PERFECT and I am working today in the sweatiest building ever. So worth a punt for those that want to try that sort of thing.
