Full coverage foundation

Right I'm looking for a full coverage foundation that lasts but doesn't cake and sink into my pores!
I've tried double wear original, loved it for years but then it just made me look older than I am. Tried double wear light and it didn't last that long also tried revlon colourstay and that caked.

Give me your suggestions people!!

I use Vichy Dermablend corrective foundation and L'oreal Infallible Total Cover which is a tad lighter weight.

Huda beauty foundation or Dior Undercover foundation are great for full coverage. Use a primer beforehand.

Kevin Aucoin sensual skin enhancer is the bomb. It's so expensive but you need a grain of rice sized dot to do your whole face.

Marc Jacobs "ReMarcable" full cover foundation is also pretty good.

MAC Studio Fix is pretty decent, a little less full than ELDW which is the bees' knees but still pretty good coverage.

Estee lauder does a camouflage. It's thinner than eldw but more coverage. You have to apply it quickly as it dries quickly but it gives a good finish.

I use the dior foundation, it's fantastic, I get it in Debenhams and the girl who runs the counter colour matches and talks you through everything. I only use dior for all my make up now

tissuesosoft · 02/07/2018 21:06

Vichy dermablend, I wouldn’t use anything else

CantChoose · 02/07/2018 22:31

Sounds odd but I use double wear light with a blob of double wear camouflage in the middle that I dip into for the bits I need done most. It all kind of blends together and gives a better finish than normal doh le wear alone - which is what I use for quick daily use.

whymewhyme · 02/07/2018 22:37

Thanks for the recommendations! I mentioned this post to a friend who suggested I apply double wear with a damp beauty blender to stop the cakey look so I'm going to give that a whirl!

Another vote for Huda. I just use a tiny bit and it goes a really long way. They have quite a good shade matching chart and you can find little samples cheaply on eBay if you can't get to a store to try some.

I'm using Kat von D foundation (lock it). It covers even my tattoos, and lasts for whole day.

Gillybobs · 06/07/2018 16:42

Normal double wear on t zone, double wear light everywhere else...works a charm

DottyP · 06/07/2018 17:10

I use DW but with equal amounts of Laura Mercier tinted moisturiser and it blends really well. Can’t get on with either on their own.

AuntyJackiesBrothersSistersBoy · 06/07/2018 18:22

Vichy Dermaplent here. They manage 75% more pigment yet you don’t feel heaviness on the skin. Good stuff and spf 35 😊

AuntyJackiesBrothersSistersBoy · 06/07/2018 18:32

DERMABLEND.

Lonelynessie · 06/07/2018 18:33

The Huda Beauty one is fab.
