Cool workwear for plus size with zero body confidence

Hi all I'm struggling to find clothes to wear to my office job during this crazy hot spell we are having.

I'm size 16, 5'5" big boobs. I've got horrible double hips - they go out, in and back out again so anything remotely figure hugging makes me crazy self conscious. I won't wear strappy / no sleeves as I hate my upper arms and I have a c-section belly pouch so all in all I don't feel great about my body and I have a tendency to cover up which is fine in the winter but I am melting with this heat and need to sort myself out.

I don't even know where to begin to look can anyone help?

You are me. I bought this and feel fab in it

It drapes over hips rather than hugs them. And this, which does the same

Seasalt do some very pretty cotton dresses if that is you kind of thing. I find their fit flattering for boobs. I am a short size 18 36GG.

Navabi have a sale on - you can filter by size and style. Asos Curve, Monki.

Superbirdtrooperbird · 01/07/2018 21:18

I second Seasalt. I saw some lovely bits in there yesterday, lots of cotton dresses in beautiful colours.

CherryPavlova · 01/07/2018 21:18

If you an run to Bombshell dresses, they are ideal.
Lands end do some nice crossover dresses.

Thank you all so much for the suggestions, I have just ordered a few things from ASOS curve. Now off to check out the rest of your recommendations

Doesn't ASOS Curve start at 18 though? H&M has some lovely stuff at the mo and I got a great pair of smart black cotton cropped trousers from Tu recently.

BreakHerOffAKitKat · 02/07/2018 09:26

They had quite a lot of 16 stuff on ASOS curve. I'll have a look at H&M too thank you
