Do I persevere with Hush jeans

First time buying jeans from Hush. Got the boyfriend star jeans and the frayed star jeans. Love them both but feel that they are very stiff and I get the dreaded gape at the back. I guess it's because they are 'proper' denim and not the stretchy skinny's I am used to. Do they wear in well and soften? Also any ideas about a stretchy belt that may help the gape? Or do I give up and send them back and buy more stretchy skinny's that only last one year ShockHmm

I have the star frayed ones. I find they do soften up nicely. I got this belt from Gap to go with mine although I don't find that mine really gape at all at the back it's just they loosen up after a couple of wears. They go back to being a little stiff after washing.

There is also a really nice belt that Hush do that goes well with them.

If they gape badly you could get them altered by a dressmaker.

I have had to give up on hush jeans, they are really good quality denim but I have found the sizing a bit bonkers.
The last pair I ordered, I could get both arms in the gape at the back I don’t mind altering the length, as that’s quite straightforward but the waist is another matter I think.
I was gutted that I had to send them back, I really wanted the star jeans.
My hunt continues 😥
