AndOtherStories sizing....?

I've never ordered from AndOtherStories before, but liked this skirt I saw online. It's only available in what it says is a size 8 (EU34). I'm really unsure as to whether this will fit me, as I'm usually a size 8 or 10. What is their sizing like? Small or big? i really like the skirt, so I hope it will fit me as no other size is available ☹️ www.stories.com/en_gbp/clothing/skirts/denim-skirts/product.dot-embroidered-demin-skirt-blue.0521465003.html

I buy from them quite often, and find them true to size. I’m a 10, and my things are all a 10. I have a lot of knitwear, and find it can be longer than I like it (I have a small waist and big hips) but they tend to give pretty accurate measurements.

I tried some dresses on from there recently and found the sizing large for me . I am usually an 8 and their extra small was big but they were loose rather than fitted dresses

I'm normally a 10 and agree it fits true to size. Personally I don't think I'd fit a size 8 from there - but then I'm more bottom than top heavy, if you're the other way around maybe you'd want to take a try! Returns aren't hard in any case (and the skirt is lovely)

I've only bought dresses but they've all been on the large side

AbFabQueen · 02/07/2018 06:41

Hoping the skirt Is on the large side so it fits...otherwise, I hope they restock it!

I find the sizing ridiculously small on items sized 8, 10 etc, and large on S, M, etc.

I am normally a size 10-12 in other shops (Zara, Top Shop) but always need a 14 in Other Stories.

I would say it verges toward the large. Their knitwear definitely comes up big.

AbFabQueen · 02/07/2018 17:44

Fingers crossed it's in the large side, just spotted the tiny model is wearing a 34....needless to say I don't think it will fit anymore !

They have this thing where clothes come from three “ateliers” - Stockholm, LA and Paris I think? And the cut/sizing differs a little depending on this. The Stockholm stuff is more generous, the Paris more petite.
