Hi. I'm looking for personal recommendations for a stylish, comfortable, flattering outfit for a summer wedding. Ideally, I'd like v neck, short sleeves, just below knee length. I'm 55, but like to look age appropriately fashionable. I don't really like anything too clingy. Will spend whatever necessary! Please help. I'm driving myself mad Confused

Have you looked at Yours clothing they do online and have a few shops. They have some lovely dresses suitable for wedding guest. I'm hoping to get to one of their stores for an August wedding.

When my son got married I bought a dress from here

My grandson told me I looked like a Princess!
Worth every penny Smile

I'd start with ebay, look for 'mother of the bride' not necessarily to buy fro there but to get an idea of what other people have worn and what looks good.

Wideleg Jumpsuits are definitely the way to go, very flattering and have a bit more "edge" than a dress.

Thank you for suggestions. Unfortunately, most of them are out of stock, and I'm not confident enough to go for the jumpsuit option!
I had forgotten about jacques vert (have bought from them before). Will have a look through this afternoon.
Thank you all for your ideas; any more suggestions gratefully accepted!
