Hard water/holiday hair

Can anyone recommend a shampoo and conditioner that are good for hard water areas? I've found whenever I go on holiday (usually Spain but this time Portugal) the hard water makes my hair look like shite.

I've done some research and apparently I need a clarifying or 'chelating' (!) shampoo. However all the ones mentioned on the hair blogs I've found are either out of stock everywhere or cost the earth (£15 + a bottle). Given that I'm only going away for a week and live in a soft water area I don't want to spend £30 but would like to come back with holiday photos that don't make me cringe...

My friend has recommended a coconut based shampoo by Palmers. Can’t remember where she got it from but I’m going to try it out.

I've seen this in Superdrug - could it be the one? uk.palmers.com/coconut-oil-formula/118-conditioning-shampoo.html

Ah yes, that’s the one. I was round my friend’s today and she washed my hair with it. It feels lush already.
