Lash lifts - yay or nay?

What do I need to know about lash lifts?

Thinking of getting this done for holidays, but does it last? And will it ruin my lashes?

Any brands or techniques to avoid?

Watching with interest, I've booked LVL next month.

My friend does mine and they always look great. I’ve had them done at a salon but they didn’t leave the lotion on long enough so it didn’t do much (I have long heavy lashes tho). Has never caused any damage to my lashes

Thanks Bigs. How long does it usually last?

I've had lvl but didn't last very well, now have it done using Salon Services (or something like that!) and it lasts much better. I didn't like that lvl just kinks the lashes near the root, I like a good curve!

But it looks good for a good fortnight then reasonable for another 2..... then I'm using the eyelash curlers to 'top up' until the next session.

Good luck!

I would say the same. 2 weeks very lifted and then another 2 at half speed!

I've had two lash lifts. The first lasted around a month, the second he lashes fell in different directions e.g. to the side, as it was wearing off. Has put me off having another although I loved how they looked initially.

I've just had my first LVL Lashes done and I am very pleased so far. I'm on week three and will probably book in again in around three weeks time. The curl is still good but the colour is fading. Not an issue as I wear (lots of 😬) mascara.

I'm using their lash conditioner as well and my lashes are looking really good with that.

I decided to have it done after having an allergic reaction to semi permanent lashes. I felt bald after having them removed after only four days 😕

So this was a big boost in the natural lash department. 😁

Ps
@Paleshelter love your user name! That's my ear worm for today them 🎧🎼🎹

Ive been having this done for a while now and love it. I have it done every 6 weeks, but in the 5th week I can normally notice they need doing again.

They are great for me as my eyelashes are blonde, so it means I don’t need to wear mascara every day (I don’t wear any makeup on a normal day to day basis)
