What are you favourite products to use whilst on holiday, I’ll be taking a hat but want extra protection whilst in the pool etc, cream/spray? Thank you 😊

Before I dry my hair at night I use argon oil whilst it's wet. Then in the morning before I go out I'll put more Aegean oil through the ends of my pony tail and have found this really works. A couple of years ago I went away and did none of this and my hair snapped off.

Just make sure your hair is wet with tap water before you jump in the sea or pool.
I use Philip kingsley swim cap or just put and leave conditioner in my hair.

I used Moroccan oil this time but Hawiian Tropic spray is good too. I have blonde fine highlighted hair (like baby hair) and it goes white and brittle in the Mediterainian sun if i dont protect it.

How do you all get on with Morroccan or Argon oil?

I use Botanics Pre-Shampoo Oil which I love but it sometimes makes my hair greasy.

I always wash my hair in the bath - prefer baths to showers - it never ever comes out in the shower.

Sometimes after blow drying my hair, it still looks greasy so I have to jump back in the bath and shampoo it again.

Does anyone have this issue with other oils?

Never. Are you using too much? What size blob do you apply and how long is your hair?

LaLaLolly · 29/06/2018 00:28

Phillip Kingsley swimcap (particularly the citrus version) is lovely and it works.

Illegallyblonde123 · 29/06/2018 17:31

Probably only use a penny sized blob in my hand. Any less and it doesn’t seem to work.

Ooh and hair is shoulder length.

Branleuse · 29/06/2018 17:50

lots of leave in conditioner, or even just a small amount of normal conditioner worked through and then keep hair tied back or under a hat

Fullfatlatte · 29/06/2018 21:16

Thank you lovely people. Have googled the Phillip Kingsley swim cap, fab reviews! 😀

Ooh have tried Palmer’s Coconut Conditioning Shampoo. My friend was raving about it and she washed my hair with it today. It feels lush.
