Shoulder covering loose(?) Sleeves - t-shirt length, or 3/4.

Summer fabric, (but thick enough for sun protection)

Not highly patterned

Bum covering

NOT shapeless! Must have a waist: tie/ shaped or even elastic Shock

Smartish. To dress up between gym and shops or smart casual for work.

Up to £30? I would prefer cheaper, then I can multibuy!!!!

I like that, but would it be short enough to go over gym trousers (I want it to double up as a cover up)

About four inches above my knee. I wear with leggings. Love wearing it, nice neckline.

PETRONELLAS · 28/06/2018 13:09

Sorry I’m 5’ 8”-9”

Thank you!

I think I might be looking for a slimline kaftan! (Floaty/ loose does not suit me. It has to be shaped and form fitting - although, not tight)

I have a few of these from H&M and they sound what you are looking for. They are a bit thin but I just pop a little cami underneath www2.hm.com/en_gb/productpage.0659854003.html

WhatchaMaCalllit · 28/06/2018 18:57

Would any of these work, or are they too shapeless for you?

Maybe this from Very.co.uk is more like what you're looking for:

All good suggestions, but not quite right (the H&M ones would be perfect, but just so sheer (I'd have to wear sun cream under it).

This would be great, of not for the stupid ties at the front:

The ones I have are not as sheer as those look in the pictures - I'd maybe have a look in store!

KnickerBockerGlooooory · 29/06/2018 14:22

Maybe try White Stuff? They do a lot of tunic and kaftan type things.

I have similar to what you're describing OP. Often buy from Monsoon or Accessorize. Also saw something similar in Calzedonia the other day (not sure if Calzedonia is in UK though).

Sorry can't do links as rubbish as that!

ColoursOfRain · 29/06/2018 21:37

Thank you. I'm starting to hone in on what I need. I found some great ones, but found they were on an Australian website. And expensive.

Those who have posted links - have you used the websites? What is the sizing like?

I hadn't thought about monsoon or accessorise!
