Best thing for sun damaged hair?

I spend a lot of time outside (love outdoor activities), in the sea and the pool, the past few weeks my hair has turned really dry and sun bleached. What’s the best product to put on it to make it healthy again?

Olaplex no.3 can be done at home and it’s really good. But speaking from experience if it’s really dry you might have to get the worst of the damage chopped off.

Second olaplex but I have a salon treatment and follow up with at home treatments for the best results.

Same here. My hair is quite fine and sometimes feels dry in the sun after doing sports or when on holiday, especially after swimming in the sea or pool.

I love Botanicals Pre-Shampoo Oil, my hair feels a lot stronger and fuller after application.

The only downside is it can make hair greasy and it’s hard to wash out in the shower. No problem for me, I prefer to shampoo my hair in the bath to a shower anyway.

Getting a Hydrating shampoo helped me- look for one with glycerine or aloe Vera high up the ingredients. Also avoid silicones if you can. And condition-wash-condition ( apply some conditioner to the damaged areas before you shampoo, it really surprised me). Then use Korres RedVine UV hair protector to prevent further damage.

Use a hair sun protectant. Currently I’m using the Charles worthington one, it does the job.
