Good evening lovely stylistas! Has anyone ever tried the St Tropez in shower tan? Its currently on offer and im swaying towards trying it out for a natural glow. I hate the patchiness and smell of fake tan though so is this one any better?

I found it to be shite. Orange and patchy, despite really proper application. Using it in the shower is a pain in the arse. I have since discovered Bondi Sands everyday stuff (turquoise bottle) and have never looked back. I apply twice a week using a mitt.

I love it. Goes on evenly and is subtle. No patches or streaks. A bit of a pain though

AnneLovesGilbert · 25/06/2018 19:49

I really didn’t like it. Had forgotten about it till I sorted through a drawer the other night. I’m very very pale and it didn’t work for me. I’m loving the dove one at the moment, no streaks, lovely subtle golden warmth and no orange!

Sassybynature · 25/06/2018 19:54

Love it, nice subtle colour no streaks and not orange. Easy to apply. Only drawback is having to wait 5 minutes before getting back in the shower. So I just brush teeth in the nod while I wait.

I love it too. Minimal faff and I like that I can just wash it off after a few minutes. I put it on in the evenings and brush my teeth while I'm marinating! Grin

Another really pale person who found it didn’t work apart from some random marks after 3 days. Very disappointed.

HeyDolly · 25/06/2018 20:07

Its shit Grin read the reviews on Boots. I decided to ignore them and bought it anyway as it’s on offer. Have been using it for 4 days so far and nothing. It sounds hassle free but 3 minuted feels like an eternity when I’m standing in a cold bath with the shower off in the mornings. Some reviews say to ignore the 3 minute rule and to leave it on for a minimum of 7 mins but I don’t have time for that. Will finish the rest of the tube but I def won’t be repeat buying.

RedPandaFluff · 25/06/2018 20:24

I quite like it - I'm very pale and it gives me a subtle colour. I also like the way you shower it off so your skin doesn't feel tacky the way it does with lotions.

I do find it a little drying, though.

RailReplacementBusService · 25/06/2018 20:26

I quite like it. Easy to apply, doesn’t stain clothes and quite natural looking. I’ve found I need 2 days of the medium to get a notable change

Malibeau · 25/06/2018 20:36

I got a really good colour out of the St Tropez gradual lotion so am trying the in shower lotion some time this week. Tried Bondi Sands the other day and the colour was no where near as good. I guess everyone's skin reacts differently to different products.

Malibeau · 25/06/2018 20:37

Also the St Tropez 1 minute before shower lotion I will be trying as well I forgot to mention. Anyone else tried that one?

EatSleepRantRepeat · 25/06/2018 20:46

I love the in-shower one - I'm very pale (think milk bottle white) so i actually use the medium one as the light one is just too subtle. It does smell biscuity but i love that I get to rinse it off afterwards, I have naturally oily skin so i hate the feeling of using body lotion after a shower. I'm the most cack-handed person ever but I've never had it streak on me yet - i don't bother with a mitt, I use cheap non-latex gloves as i find it easier to control where it goes.

Thanks so much...its currently on offer at tk Maxx for 5.99 so I'm tempted to still give it a go.
