I need something encourage the curl without making my hair crispy.

I've tried John Frieda and another couple but none seem to do everything I want.

Any ideas?

Curly girl method!! There’s a Facebook group dedicated to it and it’s great.

Boots curl creme. People will argue with me and say this makes their hair crispy but if you use a small amount (I dip my little finger in) and rub it between your hands first, then apply to wet hair and comb through, it doesn't crisp (and if you ever apply to much, just wait until your hair is pretty much dry and scrunch out the crunch - wiggle your hair about with your fingers).

I swear by this stuff. Over a couple of years I bought loads of different products, some up to £18 a bottle. The Boots stuff gives me by far the best results and a £2 tub lasts me about 8 months!

I like the OGX Moroccan curl cream (in a turquoise bottle in boots). Quite pricey at £7 a bottle though 🤔

I sort of doing curly girl but it makes my hair too curly and I don't like it . My best tip is to add curl creme when your hair is soaking wet , then towel dry , then diffuse . If you put the product in after towel drying my hair frizzes.
