L'Occitane hand cream

Bought this from Amazon as a gift (needed super quick delivery). Do they come sealed, with those little foil seals? I just checked the tube and it's unsealed. Wondered if this is standard for l'occitane...

I've just checked mine (definitely a genuine tube!) I've never used it & it is also unsealed.
Hope that helps!

I bought one this week - unsealed also and from the shop so all ok.

I think they are very expensive and not particularly hydrating but they smell nice.
I'll stick to my cheap Palmers coconut one.

Pecanpiechachacha · 04/09/2021 04:59

Same. Unsealed. Thx!

Why would you respond like that? That’s not what the OP was asking.

Unsealed OP.

Unsealed if it is the 150ml Shea or the 30ml travel sizes.

I’m a nurse and use these never had a sealed one I find them really good, thick and nourishing. Boyfriend has terrible skin on hands and got him the intensive shea one and it’s really helped. It goes quite far imo. I didn’t think it was that expensive mine is a big tube and has lasted ages still smells nice and I use it a lot

I bought a 150ml tube off Amazon - it also did not have the foil seal like other brand lotions do.
I think considering the brand & it's cost it should have a seal - product contamination concerns would be greatly alleviated!
It's enough for me to never buy the product again.
I came across this thread on 'mum's net" when I googled whether the product should have the foil seal normally. I too wanted to check if I had been scammed and if someone just put standard aquas cream in it to make a buck (smells like standard aquas cream - not helpful and added to my suspicions).
