What can I wear in the hot heat to look "ok" - hiding my chubby tummy, and my terrible cellulite's thighs (even the front has cellulite 😔)

I prefer dresses or skirts as my legs seem to look awful in shorts (regardless of length)

City break/sightseeing or beach holiday?

concretejungle · 24/06/2018 15:11

Beach. Thank you!

This dress is lovely, it's light fabric but not see through, floaty round the middle and a gorgeous colour. The photo doesn't do it justice.
Goes with denim jacket, coloured or white cardi, flats or heels.
It's expensive but in think you'd get a lot of wear from it.
I'm 5'4, and a n 18; my usual size was perfect, and length was on the long side of midi, but we'll above the ankle.

I’ve bought a couple of jumpsuits recently - never thought they’d suit me, but they’re just like a maxi dress, but without the chub rub!

Got a strapless bright blue floral one from Primark and a red, white and black striped one from Tesco.

Bought some floaty striped blue white and black trousers and coordinating royal blue vest top from Primark last week which I love too.

Had loads of compliments on my new summer clothing choices. All Primark specials!

I like George/Asda (I'm on a budget). Sizes run big.

Thanks... Boden dress looks good, although I usually prefer knee length. Feels a bit more flattering for some reason.

Has completely forgotten about maxi dresses! D'oh!

Any thoughts on beach wear? I know the skinny people will all he in bikinis etc, but what can I wear without sweltering?

Has anybody shopped at Curvissa? Looking at their website, but not sure of quality / sizing.

I have vests and t-shirts from curvissa. Quality seems ok. I got a bikini top and high waist bikini bottoms too (36gg top and 20 bottoms)

concretejungle · 24/06/2018 16:40

Thanks demented. Wish I was brave enough for a bikini!

I just figure that nobody knows me or cares what I look like so wear it anyway. There's always someone bigger than you and Most people are feeling too self conscious to be worrying about anyone else anyway
