I feel quite drawn to these for some reason! I'm a slim and petite size 6-8. Would it drown me?

I have several, I love them. If you used to wearing fitted things it will feel/look strange at first. Go for it. Great in warm weather.

Thanks @thedevilinablackdress! Where do you get yours from?

Can anyone post a link/pic please?

thunderbirdthree · 24/06/2018 15:27

I love them. I have the Hush ivy dress in black which is pretty much perfect, it just needs shorter sleeves in this weather!

DragonMamma · 24/06/2018 15:31

I have 3 of them! In black, white and grey from ASOS and H&M. Once you get over the feeling you’re wearing a nightie they are glorious to wear.

Lastseeninadressinggown · 24/06/2018 15:34

Unfortunately at my size every dress is a sack, however I absolutely love the look you're talking about and I'm sure you would look great.

NClikecrazy · 24/06/2018 15:37

Links would be lovely please! I am excited to find one now. I did look on H&M but wasn't sure what to search under.

eBay and charity shops mostly (not helpful) Search 'lagenlook' on eBay. Linen Fox on Instagram. COS is the high street home of the sacky dress. Also Toast.

thedevilinablackdress · 24/06/2018 15:40

I have this in a different colour

I’ve just bought a black 100% linen one from TKMaxx, lovely in this weather.

dontcallmelen · 24/06/2018 19:11

Hi Op, I’m the same drawn to this style but I’m probably the same size as you I’m also very short, yet to find one that doesn’t make look like a sack of spuds, if you find one that suits please let me know.

OCSock · 24/06/2018 19:12

Several seasons old, but I have one that is the most comfortable thing to throw on when it's hot. Sadly no pockets, so it's not perfect.

throwawayagain · 25/06/2018 00:14

I have 2 from McQueen.
Very easy to wear. Lovely with summer boots.

throwawayagain · 25/06/2018 00:15

....I'm tall though, so maybe it's different.
Sometimes wear with French Sole pumps. Very wearable.

Does this sort of thing count ?
I have a few like this - love them and they do have some shape so I find them flattering ..

Not linen though

Looking at the links, except the midi one, these look tunics, just loose ones. Is that right? Lovely one you linked to daisy!

OCSock · 03/07/2018 15:33

This thread, and this weather, reminded me to wear it and four people complimented it today, one of whom was just walking past me in the market. I think she must be a MNetter who has read the random compliment thread too!

Try The Masai Clothing Company- they have Lagenlook in small sizes.
