Which dress (if any!)

I have my DN’s christening to attend next month and could do with your help on choosing a dress.

Can I ask your opinions on the 5 dresses attached?

Unfortunately, I’m a bit of a short arse, so they might all look daft on me if they can’t be altered, but just wondering on general opinion and if I should bypass any of them completely, e.g. not christening appropriate.

I'd go light for a christening Especially in summer as its generally a wholey day time thing.

Depends on your figure really, . 3 is fine if your slim but would avoid with a tummy. 4 and 5 are lovely, I'd buy 5

Definitely prefer the lighter colours for a summer christening. If you have a similar figure to the model than I’d go with number 3. Otherwise 5 gets my vote.

Number 3 I think, definitely not 1.

Number 2 for an autumn wedding would be lovely! It’s actually my favourite of them all but (in my opinion) the dark colour just isn’t quite right for a summer christening.

Number 4 is my fav

I like them all but agree with light colours for summer christening. However if you want to double up and wear it in October, too, 3 or 4 may work quite well due to the black waistband. Team it up with a grey (is that the background print colour?) blazer for the wedding... not that you asked for extra ideas

If you want to wear a dark dress in the summer, bloody well go for it. Screw protocol. Do what you want. There is no right or wrong.

5 is the only one of those i would consider, very appropriate for the christening.
