Emilia just avoids looking frumpy and looks lovely. Must be something to do with being very beautiful! That would look awful on me and I'm slim .... but I'm not Emilia Clarke!

Emilia looks lovely. Where were Robb Stark and Jorah Mormont, that's what I want to know .

Hmm, if we’re critiquing, I don’t like
Emilia Clarke’s outfit at all, I think that shade of pink is too warm for her colouring and the overall effect is pretty frumpy, and the jacket is far too big for her, it looks like she borrowed it from her Mum or something.

I love Maisie William’s whole look but it isn’t very weddingy. Sophie Turner does look like she’s forgotten to put a skirt on in the photos I saw and over-the-knee boots do have unfortunate connotations.

Altogether slightly odd choices from my POV, but, as long as everyone had a good day! I doubt they care what we think.

I agree Serendipity. I think if she ditched the coat and went with a higher heel the dress could work- but the colour would look nicer if she had her formerly (I think natural?) dark hair.

Presumably she’ll only have the coat on for the walk from car to church etc - it’s not an actual part of the outfit. And maybe she can’t dance in a higher heel.

That’s what I mean by liking the normality of it: she’s dressed for the event itself not the five minutes that press cameras will be on her because that’s not the important bit. Likewise if you’re growing out an old hair colour and returning to your natural colour a normal human probably wouldn’t say “oh but it’s X’s wedding half way through the process, I should get my hair professionally dyed to the old colour so I look my best in the photos”. In the real world only the bride, the MOB/MOG and the bridesmaids might get professional hair and makeup. I’m assuming that she ran a hairbrush through her hair before the actual wedding photos, which are the important ones, not the ones that the uninvited paparazzi happen to take.

Robb Stark was there. I’m not sure the sunglasses add to the look, but again I’m sure he took them off for the venue.

It definitely looks like normal people going to their mate’s normal wedding albeit one where the bride’s family own an actual castle and the groom is proper descended from royalty I doubt most of us would look particularly fab if we were papped on the way to our mate’s wedding. We just have higher expectations of these people because we usually see them in their professional context when they’ve been styled by a team etc.

Rose just looks SO beautiful.
