Bra for backless dress?

I have recently bought this dress cheap as chips in asos sale and was pleasantly surprised at how flattering it is on. Only problem is I don't know what bra to buy given the cut out back. Need something fairly supportive as I am fairly large of nork (32FF / 34F). Any ideas?

I know you can get stick on bras but not sure of sizes

I saw a fashion segment recently that suggested women who need support with backless dresses wear a really pretty lace bralette or something that looks like it's there to be seen.

With larger boobs I can't imagine a stick on bra doing you any favours (I speak from experience) and the ones with clear backs just took tacky

Thanks, ladies. The stick on ones do scare me a little, I don't want to be readjusting all the time! Maybe a bralette is the way forward but I'm not sure if that will have much support either?

There is no such bra that will go with that dress. It's a dress for people that don't need a bra. Even a lacy bralette wouldn't look right

I take your point but it looks good on, flattering in all the right places - even without a bra, my boobs are just about perky enough (but I wouldn't feel confident without one). Anyways I spotted a few low back bodysuits which look promising Smile

Go vintage. Type in "backless merry widow" and see what you come up with. I got an original 19 50s low back bra which would work beautifully with that dress. I am a 30E so you can get them for larger back sizes. They do give you pointy 50s boobs though!

Thanks, Gah! Will check it out x

JML Star Bra?

I think the only affordable solution for this dress is to tape your boobs up with duct tape. Google "Kim Kardashian tit tape" and you'll find some videos showing you how to do it.

DuchyDuke · 25/06/2018 21:07

simplybe have backless and low back bras in your size. If you have a curved bum / short waist then the backless part might fall hire, allowing you to get away with a low back bra.

Don't wear one if can get away without it. I don't tend to wear bras when I get away with it but then I got really small boobs.

To make me feel a little less self conscious about my pointy nipples I put little round plasters over them.

My boobs then look fine without the pea effect Smile
