I've got an event coming up in July which will involve me being presented to senior royalty. It's not a dinner or a garden party or anything but I'm trying to decide what to wear. I'm mainly a shorts, flip flops and vest kinda woman in the summer and none of my existing dresses (old ones from when I used to work in an office) are quite right. Anyone got any suggestions for a not too expensive dress which might work but could be dressed down and worn again? Preferably one with floaty sleeves? I'm 5ft 3 and a 14/16 with a mum tum and fat upper arms. I have got a nice Cath Kidston printed skirt which could be dressed up with the right top maybe?
