Rubbers work as a dental stain remover!

I always get bad tea staining on my teeth so I was looking at buying a product online. I realised all the products just look like rubbers. So I decided to experiment with one of my children's (unused) white rubbers and after 30 seconds of light rubbing the stains are gone! I'm quite shocked.

Oh my goodness! Did any bits flake off into your mouth? Which particular erasers were they?

No, the rubber didn't flake off at all and the result is the same as when the hygienist does it. I just used a cheap pencil with an eraser at the top (the ones that come in packs).
