School trousers for DD!

Looking for some school trousers for 13yr old DD. She's starting at a new secondary school which has a stricter uniform policy. The trousers they specify are from a certain supplier, she did try them on, but they didn't fit her, they were much too tight around the thigh & bottom & still couldn't do up around the waist, dd isn't overweight, she's got a lovely figure she's just not a slim build, she's stocky iukwim.

The school doesn't want tight skinnies, so, like most girls, dd doesn't want to wear bootleg - or rather 'ankle wafters' as she calls them, the ones the school actually stipulate at their suppliers are just straight legged. Where's the best place I can find a pair of straight legged trousers do you think that will keep school & dd happy? She's curvy round the bum area & is better with material that has a bit of stretch in it.

I'm watching this thread with interest as we have the same issues with my 13 year old DDs school trousers.

The trousers they specify are from a certain supplier Is she allowed to get them elsewhere? We had a problem with shoes for dd. We now have drs letters but initially we got a letter from the top shoe shop in town saying that despite an hour and a half trying they were unable to fir appropriate shoes and recommended that she wore black trainers. Without a letter from the suppliers the school may try to demand that she wears those trousers. Often they hide a logo somewhere to make sure they conform.
