Black Tie Dress

Posted a while back about dresses for a ball & managed to find a couple, but I prefer this one by far. The event is a summer ball but it’s black tie & as previously mentioned, not something I’ve attended before so hard to gauge what others might wear.

So mumsnet, please advise on whether you think this dress will be a good option?

That’s just fine. Black tie means evening wear but doesn’t have to be floor length. Silver shoes and bag would look great. That’s a very good length for this summer too. Spot on! Enjoy your event.

Thanks. Had planned on adding silver shoes & a plain bag & some simple earrings cos I think the dress has enough on it to not need any more bling.
