My hair was v v dark brown (almost black) when I was young. I have been dying it to that colour (at hairdresser) but for various reasons, I haven’t had the roots done for a while and I have 1-2” ish at the roots which is probably 20% white, 20% v dark brown and 60% grey. The rest of my hair (just about shoulder length is faded dark brown.
I’d love to transition my natural which is obv now gray/white with a sprinkling of brown... is it possible to get the dye stripped from the dyed part to make the regrowth less stark?
Can anyone recommend a really really good colourist in Southampton/Winchester for at least a consultation? My current hairdresser is talking about putting blonde highlights in to transition but I don’t think they’ll tone with my natural steely grey colour so that just delays the regrowth problem to my mind.
