Has anyone seen this (Asda) skirt in real life?

I'm not near an Asda store, so have only looked online but this skirt looks really nice. However, I'd prefer to see a picture of it on an actual person. It's described as lightweight so I'm worried it would be see-through and I'm also not sure about the length, it's hard to tell from the pics on the site.

The link is just taking me to the homepage?

macnab · 22/06/2018 10:13

Oh sorry HildaZelda I just tried it and it works ok so I don't know what's happened? If you want to search for it on the site put in "Red Stiped Lightweight Asymmetrical Skirt"

I can't copy & paste the picture here because when I move the mouse over it I get the zoom!

I haven’t but it’s lovely. It’s viscose so shouldn’t be too see through

KirstenRaymonde · 22/06/2018 10:15

There you go

A friend has this. It clings rather unflatteringly to her vaginal area and bum due to static.

This one?

Thanks KirstenRaymonde !

I think I'll order it and see how I feel about it on.

Looks lovely. Just make sure to earth your vagina first 🤣

DuchyDuke oh dear that is not the look I'm going for, and in fact was hoping to wear it for work over the summer - definitely don't think my fandango is something my colleagues want to see Hmm

Wash in fabric conditioner to remove static. Heard that tip on here. Not sure if it works.

silkpyjamasallday · 22/06/2018 11:34

I’m sure Trinny said if you spray your legs with hairspray staticky things don’t cling, not sure if you’d want hairspray on your foof/bum though

BluebellsareBlue · 22/06/2018 11:39

Oh I don’t know @silkpyjamasallday , perhaps the OP can do some ‘styling’ with the hairspray and kill to birds with one stone, no static and I nice Mohawk?

BluebellsareBlue · 22/06/2018 11:40

*two!! Jeezo!!

flamingofridays · 22/06/2018 11:41

ooh that's lovely (minus static bottom issues) might buy it myself!

ilovechocolates · 22/06/2018 11:43

I know they're old fashioned but would an Anti-static slip help

macnab · 22/06/2018 12:05

A slip might help but I don't own one and I'd be worried about it moving around underneath the outer skirt? Think I'll try this out first (around the house obviously, don't want to risk giving people heart attacks) and then see if I have the same static/foof problems as others!

OP posts:
HildaZelda · 22/06/2018 12:14

I can see it now. I like the skirt, but I don't have an Asda near me so don't know what it's like in the flesh.

Fatted · 22/06/2018 12:16

Just give it a wipe with a tumble dryer sheet to avoid static
