Thinking of getting a wig a la Alicia Florrick

I hate my hair. It's thin and wiry and I can't do a thing with it. I have been admiring Juliana Margulies' hair in The Good Wife for ages. I then read an interview with her where she says she wore wigs!

Where can I get me one of these wigs? And can my wig look as good as hers even though I don't have her budget? Is it bonkers to want a wig when you don't suffer hair loss? Has anyone else here got a wig?

Thanks.

I like her hair but I LOVE her eyebrows. I wonder if she had eyebrow wigs too?

She does have good eyebrows. Maybe she had microblading?

I’m a full time wig wearer (alopecia). I have 10 in different colours and styles (gave up giving a shit if anyone worked out I was wearing one, which gave me freedom to experiment). You’ll pay £100 - £300 for a good synthetic. Good brands are Noriko of Paris, Jon Renau, Raquel Welch. Good uk supplier are Simply Wigs and Valentine Wigs. Both of these will accept returns but be sure you read exactly what you need to do to be able to return it before you even take it out of the box. I take a photo at every stage of the unboxing to ensure I can repackage properly.

Thanks ilovecherries. I will check out those brands. That must be fun having all those different colours and styles. Do you find the wigs easy to keep on?
