What's the trend in eyewear these days?

My trusty €10 holiday-buy sunglasses have gone missing 😭 but I take this as an omen to upgrade. I'm currently wearing a pair of DHs ray-bans which don't suit me.

What's the trend these days?

Budget up to £300 but prefer to spend £150-200

Don't ask me about eyewear trends, but if you want high quality lenses and comfortable cool frames, I think you should look at Maui Jim. The most fashionable styles will take all your budget, but between £150-250 there are usually some corkers. The cheapest ones are very unisex; DH and I have almost identical pairs but in different colours. Sold at good opticians and in decent duty free shops.

Have a look in TK Maxx. I recently bought a pair of Marc Jacobs Tortoiseshell Jackie O's for £49 down from £145. They compare favourably to my £300 Cutler & Gross ones too.

Mine are prescription polarised sunglasses from the opticians- the frames are by Vogue.
I think they are quite fashionable- will take a pic later, but Vogue are good for stylish & affordable frames.
