I ordered this outfit for a very stylish wedding I’m attending at the end of July. It arrived and is beautiful, size 14 fits all over except my huge chest!! I’m struggling to even do it up and it doesn’t flatter if I force it!

So, it’s back to the drawing board - I’d really like something with a bit of wow... I’m size 14 but very large chest so probably 16 on top. I like bright colours, don’t really do floaty... but would love some suggestions from you lovely, stylish people!

Wow that jumpsuit is stunning! No help really, sorry. But you clearly have great taste so am sure you'll find something else beautiful.

Cbeebiessavesmyafternoon · 21/06/2018 20:24

Can you not exchange it for the next size up?

NigellasGuest · 21/06/2018 20:31

How about trousers and top in complementary style, and buy a 16 top and 14 bottom? They seem to have separates that are similar in style to the jump suit - which is gorgeous.

Almondio · 21/06/2018 20:33

Could you try separates from Coast or Reiss maybe, then at least you'll be able to select the best size? Warehouse has some really nice midi dresses in at the moment but perhaps not formal enough for what you want. Have you tried Silk Fred? My friend had a lovely dress from there, unusual and great quality.

ComeTalkToMe · 21/06/2018 23:06

Thanks guys, 14 is the biggest size they do unfortunately.

I’ll have a look at Silk Fred and Coast, I tend to find Reiss cut a bit on the smaller side too. Like the idea of really bright trousers and too maybe? Smile

How were you going to manage a bra with the jumpsuit? Strapless? Sounds as if separates may be better to get a good fit top and bottom. Reiss and Ted Baker could be worth a look.

Levithecat · 22/06/2018 07:11

That jumpsuit is gorgeous.
Have you looked at whistles and Anthropologie? I’ve seen some great jumpsuits and dresses in anthro in particular, but often prints.

ComeTalkToMe · 22/06/2018 09:32

Was going to wear my multi-wear bra with one strap, the jumpsuit is also well structured... but ah well not to be.

Will try Anthropologie, never really looked there before!

This would be nice for a wedding. uk.monsoon.co.uk/view/product/uk_catalog/mon_13.21/4424196114

Where do they find models that flat chested to model the clothe,I suspect that wouldn't fit normal size boobs

DuchyDuke · 22/06/2018 10:25

Get co-ords. Warehouse do some really smart things.

Atalune · 22/06/2018 10:27

Don’t buy from silk Fred their stuff is horrible and cheap.

Atalune · 22/06/2018 10:30

Is there a good seamstress neR you? You could take the jumpsuit and see if there were any darts etc that could taken out and then re sewn? Worth an ask.

I had a dress in an 8 made into a 9 (!) on the waist as it was a bit of a pinch.

GetOffTheTableMabel · 22/06/2018 10:31

I think it would be worth having a look on lux-fix.com
They have beautiful jumpsuits & dresses with a variety of necklines which might suit slightly bigger boobs.

Tatiannatomasina · 22/06/2018 11:53

Seamstress for sure, how is the length on you, can you pinch some material from the hems to use? Or can they unpick the side seams and put in a contrasting colour?

Tatiannatomasina · 22/06/2018 11:56

Or get the zip taken out and corset the side in matching or contrasting ribbon.

ComeTalkToMe · 22/06/2018 15:43

Honestly, I think it would need let out too much for a seamstress to do it. I would be wary as well as that’s quite pricy for me and if I wasn’t happy I then can’t return!!

I do like that Monsoon link, but really fancy bright. Looking through some others, appreciate the input x

Oooh some nice stuff on that lux fix...

This comes in a 16, and if was a bit roomy round the waist then that would be a straightforward alteration.

Would look great with bright accessories, or gold. I love blush pink with navyv and a bright green would be lovely. A couple of green melamine bagels with a slim gold one, a raffia clutch and green shoes? Some strappy ones with Pom pom ties.... I’m off google for you!

Purple would also look great against navy. Those Zara heels look stylish and comfy!

The other ones are lush but high!

Can't believe I'm suggesting this, but Matalan have a beautiful jumpsuit in.

Out of stock online, worth checking if they have it in a nearby store?

Jakadaal · 22/06/2018 17:45

How about these?
I have the navy jumpsuit - it's gorgeous and could be brightened up with coloured shoes?
