What jacket or cardigan would go with this dress please?

I have NO idea! It's a floaty type fabric so thought a blazer might be too heavy. Any genius ideas please?

Denim?

Depends on the event.

Daytime shopping : denim jacket, biker jacket.
Evening : gold/silver /bronze wrap or shawl or a coatigan?

Depends where you're wearing it to really...

I'd go for a lightweight beige mac for work /day to day. If you can find a flattering one it's a great 'goes with just about everything' option.

I'd have blazer (black or white), not long one but short one. It would be structured as the bottom of the dress seems floaty/loose. Or tight denim jacket for more informal use.

Cropped cashmere cardigan would go, as it’s not to heavy or a leather biker jacket, depends on where you will be wearing it really.
