I am wearing a light pink dress (photo attached) and prefer to wear slingbacks, and kitten heels as I am not good with big heels. Do these go with the dress?

I think they look lovely :)

wedothebestbbqs · 20/06/2018 18:00

I'm hoping I can wear them again in real life , but a bargain for wedding shoes!

Yes they are lovely. Would be good with cropped trousers for other occasions

wedothebestbbqs · 20/06/2018 20:27

Does the embellishment look a bit much?

Not at all - and I'm quite conservative

OuchLegoHurts · 20/06/2018 21:40

Beautiful outfit... The low shoes are classy with the dress, much classier than big high ones

wedothebestbbqs · 20/06/2018 21:48

Awesome I was unsure about making a last min change to something more white and weddingy !

So does silver go with this light pink then? I have a pearl bracelet , and think I have a silver and sapphire bracelet

But you're not wearing shoes with any embellishment in your photo? I like the shoes you are wearing better than the ones you have linked to.

Spottybotty14 · 21/06/2018 08:54

The shoes in the photo look better than the silver ones in the link.
I’m not sure silver shoes go with the pink dress to be honest... what’s wrong with the ones in the photo?
The dress is amazing and you look fab BTW...

MollyHuaCha · 21/06/2018 09:25

Lovely dress and shoes.

OuchLegoHurts · 21/06/2018 13:05

Oh sorry, I meant the shoes in your photo! No, I don't think the silver ones would really go with that dress. Can you not wear the beautiful ones in the photo? And Rose gold jewellery would be Fab, or failing that, I'd go with gold.

macnab · 21/06/2018 13:19

Your photo is a bit confusing OP because we're all thinking that its the shoes in the photo that you're looking for opinions on!

I, like others, think the shoes you're wearing in the photo are lovely and go very well with the dress. I'm sorry to say that I think the shoes you've linked to are very fussy and dated (sorry, really not my style) and don't go as well colour-wise with the dress.

wedothebestbbqs · 21/06/2018 16:54

Oh right, the shoes I'm wearing in the pic were just what I had on at the time. I've been wearing them on the school run etc so they are a bit marked and not really suitable for a wedding where I'll be looked at a lot! Back to the drawing board. I also have these shoes , pic attached ...

On the upside , the shoes in the dress picture are v comfy and I am happy wearing them.

I have wet wiped the nude shoes to try and improve them, they are a little better!!

OP posts:
PineappleLava · 21/06/2018 20:08

Or if you wanted something a bit dressier than the plain nude ones, what about the M&S ones in ivory?
(I don’t think the silver really goes with your pink dress - which you look great in BTW)

wedothebestbbqs · 21/06/2018 20:32

I was thinking the silver ones could be used again rather than the ivory ones @PineappleLava ? Maybe not :(

OP posts:
PineappleLava · 21/06/2018 20:57

Fair enough!
Would these be better - they are pink:

Good Lord no, I think they should be burnt!
