What size bra would you put me at? (UK)

I'm fed up of wearing uncomfortable too big bras. I'm a child sized adult but like to wear a bra in summer as to not scare anyone when I'm out in public in thin summer wear. I'd put myself at a 30AAAA or 28AAA (UK sizes) but as you can imagine, these are about as nonexistent as my breasts.

My underbust is 63cm (24inches) and overbust 70cm (27 inches) - Am I measuring wrong or is there really just no bra for me?

You need booborbust.com

clicky

You measure at a 24c but that’s impossible to get. You may find some 26b around but also hard to find. Have you tried bralets rather than structured bras?

TrashPanda · 20/06/2018 17:26

In theory around a 24C but they will be hard to find. Sister size would be 26B, also hard to find. Online will be your best bet, order as many as you can find and try them all on.

I have a very small chest and when not breastfeeding measure a 26E but usually go for 28D or DD depending on make if I wore a proper bra. I only ever wear the little lacy bralettes from m&s as I don't really need support, just nipples being disguised. 3 pregnancies and breastfeeding plus slightly different sized boobs mean my nipples are at different heights so i prefer that they can't be seen. The bralettes more than do that and they are so comfy.

you'll be hard pushed to find a 24c . Maybe the polish brands might be worth a look as a lot of the ewa bras start at a 65.

Just wear a bralette like i do. So much comfier! Peacocks do good ones with thin straps. H&m do nice ones too.

Thank you all! I'll see if I can find a small sized bralette or bandeau then, or failing that I guess I'll have to start my own bra company... or buy a lifetime supply of plasters

Some Asian women are small built can you find stuff online aimed at them?

susieshow · 20/06/2018 19:08

Yes, I've tried looking at Asian shops but they seem to only start at a 32 band just like here

I use peacocks bralets. So comfy!

LapsedHumanist · 21/06/2018 11:13

There are lots of people on Etsy who make bralettes and soft bras. Often they’ll make custom sizes if you message them and provide measurements.

Verbena87 · 21/06/2018 11:28

Can you sew? Ohhhlulu on Etsy does good soft bra/bralette patterns which come in a range of sizes and you can sew your own size and in fabric of your choice.

Failing that, bralettes are a good shout.
