NARS lipsticks - can you recommend me some colours?

I will be at a NARS counter on Saturday (a rare occurrence). I need to get some more eyeshadow primer and I fancy a new lipstick while I'm at it. My colouring is fair and rosy, I'm usually the second lightest shade in any foundation range. Blue eyes, medium brown hair. I'm totally open minded about colour and can do satin, creamy or matte. The only NARS lip product I have is Famous Red and I like it, both the colour and the formula

Any colour suggestions?

I have the same colouring as you and I have the Audacious lipsticks in Greta, Grace and Natalie. Natalie takes a little work to get even, but is a gorgeous colour. I also have the satin pencil in Yu, Golshan, Hyde Park and Luxembourg and the matte one in Dragon Girl, Sex Machine and Do Me Baby (the names!). The only one I wouldn't recommend is Sex Machine as I got it to be a my lips but better shade and it's too close to my natural lip colour so it doesn't show up at all on me.

Thanks Nabootique. I know Grace and Greta and they are stunning colours. I tried on Dragon Girl last time I was at a NARS counter and liked it so that's a definite maybe. Will look up the others too

I have Grace and it is a stunning colour. I find the consistency very high maintenance though.

Just pretty smudgy. Requires attention. I am just personally a bit lazy like that.

I like the new NARS x Erdem ones. Carnal Carnation is a fab low-maintenance red.

I'm a bit lazy too, but also quite like looking at myself in the mirror! So regular top ups is fine 😁

I'm similar colouring to you and Anita is my favourite. It's a coolish toned pinky nude.

I do like the look of Anita. Lots of playing to do on Saturday!

I'm he same colouring as you to a T bar the fact I have green eyes. NARS Damage is a beautiful everyday colour for me.

I also used to wear Funny Face all the time and it is still a favourite but it's bold, very bold.

Dolce vita is my all time fave.

Damage makes my colourless lips look normal. Sheer non-drying non-glossy texture.

Thanks all for your advice. I went for Schiap, which is a very bright, very blue fuchsia pink. I love it.

Grace, Vivien, Luxembourg and Damned are definitely on the list for further consideration
