I am to take my usual stuff but decant into smaller bottles/containers.
Makeup wipes are a must. They’re useful for so many things aside from removing makeup!
I’d get miniature bottles from Superdrug or £ Shop, the muji ones are nice but little bottles/pots in general are so hard to clean that often they need to be thrown away when you’ve used them. Then I decant my skincare etc into them. Contact lens cases are also really good for this (obv not the one you’re going to put your lenses in!), each side holds about a weeks worth of eye cream or serum.
Take some deep cleansing shampoo (tresemme one is particularly good), as you can wash hair and clothes with it (gets any stain out - got knows what it does to your hair!!)
If you have liquid products like toner that you apply with cotton wool, don’t take the whole bottle. Presoak the required amount of cotton wool pads and put them in a ziplock bag.
Makeup - take the minimum you can bear. I went short haul recently with just hand luggage and I took one foundation, one concealer, one blush, one powder, mascara, one shimmer brick from Bobbi brown (doubles as eyeshadow and bronzer ), setting spray, one lip gloss one lipstick. Take a stick foundation if poss - I like the Cover FX cover click ones.
