I’d love to find a really flattering one piece. I’ve got some sports ones but they are not lounging elegantly at the pool type.

I tried an M&S one as had heard good things but it wasn’t cut big enough in the bust I’m 32G - does anyone have any ideas? Or fabulous brands?

Try Bravissimo and Figleaves.

Figleaves do tummy control ones that are really good at sucking you in.

I have this one from Biba. Although I'm not large of nork, I do need some support thanks to 2 years of breastfeeding, and this is great. Not too pricey either and probably on sale by now.

I like the Boden Santorini at the minute but it's more £££ than I'd spend 😩

DarkDarkNight · 19/06/2018 12:34

I’ve tried a lot recently and the Boden Amalfi Bandeau Swimsuit was by far the most flattering. I have the Navy with Gold Spots and it is really flattering and supportive.

I got a lovely Panache one from Next Directory - you can search by bra size and try on at home.
It has a bra style strap across the back so it's very secure and supportive- I mostly wear mine for doing hydrotherapy exercises and everything stays put!

Have you looked at Asda? They’ve got some really nice ones in atm ☺️ I’ve just got one to take my 12 week old swimming and I less self conscious than i thought I would.

Cherrypie32 · 19/06/2018 14:33

For big busts don’t bother with high street and order bra sized swimwear online. Underwear brand like Freya and Fantasie do nice ones. JL and Next (online) also stock these.

I love love these (I’m 34E) they are expensive but soooo worth it

Oh my! There are some great ideas here!

Thank you all!! I filled a basket on figleaves (really loved the Fantasie Versailles twist in blue - I wonder if 34F would fit a 32GG ?) but love the biba and boden ones too. Plus I’ll pop into Asda!

I just want something that slims, lifts, tucks and looks lovely - that can’t be too much to ask? Grin

I'm the same size as you and have the same problem (plus I'm also tall so need a long/tall one just to add to the difficulty)
I agree forget high street. I've seen Asda/m&s ones recommended for chesty ladies and I've never found one that's any good. Even some with the built in bras are useless with no support.
I have had curvy Kate branded ones and they are good and true to size.

If you are located in the midlands there's a wacaol factory shop I can recommend. I've got a tankini from there, all their swimwear is bra sized.

Cherrypie32 · 19/06/2018 19:02

Forgot to say I’ve never found a Boden swimsuit that really works for me (34FF)

Bringonspring · 20/06/2018 09:23

I know there uber expensive but I would sacrifice a new beach dress for the Miracle suit, they really do make you look 10lbs lighter in 10 seconds. I have never felt as comfortable in a one piece (post two children) when I wore my one. It also looked flattering.

specialsubject · 20/06/2018 09:33

how on earth do you get that on and off? must be a nightmare when you want to go to toilet.

presumably not for swimming as will stay soggy for days with all that extra lumpy fabric. and black. so practical in the heat....

Cherrypie32 · 20/06/2018 11:28

Looks to me like you’d roll it down like any other costume special do you have any suggestions for a good supportive swimsuit?

Bringonspring · 20/06/2018 13:57

Specialsubject I didn’t do lengths of pools in it. Was mainly chasing round two toddlers-so paddling/holding them whilst they swam, held up well under those conditions.

I was in Italy so dried really quickly. I always buy black swim suits so never worry about that.

I brought a size 10 and I’m comfortably a size 10, like any swim suit you have to take it up and down and didn’t have a problem. I could have gone for size 8 and then it definitely would have been harder and not practical when my children give me two minutes to wee.

I have normally gone for more sporty swimsuits but found this was wayyyy more supportive but I also felt good in it.

MistyMeena · 20/06/2018 14:57

Boden have 30% off at the minute...Squee!

SqueeksAway · 21/06/2018 17:54

I couldn’t stop thinking about the miraclesuit..... so just bought it “to try on”
