Anyone got this Cos dress?

I am in love with this dress. Trouble is there isn't a Cos store anywhere near me and I have never ordered from them before.
Does anyone actually have this dress and if so is it as lovely as it looks?
Generally what are Cos like for sizing please? I'm a standard 10 in most high street stores - are they fairly true to size?
Sorry for all the questions, many thanks in advance for anyone who can help.

Are you sure that's a dress? "The pictures make it look like a (very nice) top.

Ellapaella · 18/06/2018 22:23

Yes it's listed as a dress Grin
Do you know about Cos sizing? Are they generally true to size?

Personally I wouldn't be planning on wearing it over trousers btw...

I've ordered from Cos and returned with no bother. I think they even pay return postage. In my experience they were on the large side.

I buy a lot of Cos and generally it comes up very large but that's their style. Order different sizes and send back the others.

Cos are very generous in their sizing so I'd order a size or two down imo. They tend to suit tall and leggy specimens unlike short arses like me.

I wear a lot from Cos. They are generous in sizing so if you are generally a 10.12, a 10 will fit. A size small is the equivalent of a size 10-12.

Thanks everyone. This one seems to be in European sizing so I think I'll order an 8 and a 10 and see which is best.

If you can afford the £, I'd say it's best to order your usual size and the one smaller in Cos (I've never ever had to size up and most of my wardrobe is from there. Lucky to have a shop nearby though which helps).

Particularly with those kind of loose cocoon-y styles of which they do a lot. Sometimes it's not size of the body of the dress but the fit on the shoulders or bust, or tiny difference in length which can make the difference between sizes, and on your personal body shape.

yes, watch the north european sizing, it's smaller than the French conversion. I'm a standard UK10/Small and I take a 36 in Cos/Arket etc...

Thank you @MrsMariaPolouvicka, that's really helpful, I'll try a 36.
