I used to be an 8. Now most my clothes are a tight 10...I'm not comfortable and need a 12! I am 31 and 5ft 1. I am a pear shape. No boobs and big hips. I have no idea what will look good. I want to live in pyjamas :( help?!

I'm similar. But I'm a tad taller. That doesn't mean that we don't suit the same shapes though. If you're like me, then your waist is one of your best features.

Wear bias cut skirts and tighter fitting tops. Wear boat neck tops....not v necks. Avoid polo necks due to your height....slash neck t shirts will look nice as will small collars.

Any dresses with a waist which goes in. Also, empire line dresses.

The John Lewis Website has a style planner. I am short too and I find it a really useful tool. I see stuff on there that I would not find in the store. I hate trying thing on as I look naff in the store mirrors.

It's really hard when you are short. I'm 5ft and a 12 too but do have boobs, tummy, hips and thighs :-( I tend to wear skinny jeans and tunic tops that cover my tummy with wedge shoes to give me height. I usually have lower/v necks as anything higher/different shape doesn't flatter my boobs and probably makes me look shorter. I'm going to check out that John Lewis style planner.
