They seem to have ranges of stuff I've never seen before - and looks great. Any recommendations?

Espidifen painkillers (powdered ibuprofen)

You can get a facial sunblock from a brand called ISDN in a pale blue/grey metallic stick that is also a tinted moisturiser and comes with a blending brush. I don't know if they sell it in the U.K. as I haven't lived there for ages, but I've neve seen the ISDN brand over there. I use the La Roche-Posay stick (not tinted - the stick looks white but comes out clear) SPF 50 facial stick. On the whole I think suncreams here are better than in the U.K. - as in more user friendly.

If you go to a Julia perfume shop (they're a chain) they sell amazing own brand make-up removal wipes. The smell is gorgeous and they leave your skin so soft.

PRIMOR shops are great too, loads of bargains, have a root around!

1g paracetamol tablets are good too. (Again, don't know whether you can get these in U.K.)

If you use Retin A, you can get it over the counter as Retirides (I don't advocate using it without medical advice first though).
